The ‘Vesak Festival’, a Buddhist Festival, will be held in the month of May 2017 to celebrate the birth, death and enlightenment of Siddharth Gautam as Buddha Shakyamuni (the spiritual teacher and founder of Buddhism). All three of these events are together called Vesak Trisuci and Vesak is called Buddha’s Day.

The religious festival, held on the evening of the full moon day in the month of May, takes place in the 9th Century AD Borobudur Temple. The monks dress in saffron/orange robes, carry candles and orange flowers as offerings with them. Their procession starts in the evening when the temple is washed by the moonlight. They light the candles and chant holy chants. They also pray and meditate at the same time. After the completion of prayers the pilgrims follow the Pradaksina ritual, where they circle the temple three times. Marking the end of the ceremony thousands of Puja Lanterns are released into the sky that symbolises enlightenment for the entire universe.

The whole atmosphere of the festival is spiritual and tranquil. The true essence of the Buddhist religion can be understood from this grand festival and it is an amazing festival to experience.

But XPETS amongst the peaceful spiritual monks is an IMPOSTER dressed in a shabby brown robe with a miserable expression who plans to destroy all the Puja Lanterns before the monks have chance to release them at the end of the ceremony. XPETS we must stop this IMPOSTER before he is able to accomplish his mission. Can we find him in time? Where is he hiding? WE ARE XPETS AND WE WILL DEFEAT THIS IMPOSTER!!!
