We are in Hawaii for Kamehameha Day! Yea that’s what I thought when I read that!
We’re on the hunt (again) for all the coconuts that Wiley Walter Weasel has hidden around the islands, they could be anywhere, on the parade floats, food, you name it he’s stuffed a coconut!
Then we have to find out which pic he’s in and put him behind bars.
After that there’s our MENSA level quiz questions (sniggers) and then the funny caption competition.
When we’ve finished and while the team are picking a winner, there’s traditional Hawaiian food and plenty to drink in the Tiki Bar. It’s a bit dark in there so take your torch!
Look forward to seeing you all there super heroes! It’s going to be fun! Don’t forget your surf boards and shorts, definitely your shorts. Don’t want to scare the locals!

Here’s the intel for the quiz questions.
Its short, it’s easy and you know all the answers will be in it!

Kamehameha Day 2023
June 11, 2023 in Hawaii
In Hawai’i the public holiday called Kamehameha Day is observed on June 11, 2023. The day honors the monarch Kamehameha the Great, who established the unified Kingdom of Hawai’i, consisting of the islands named Maui, Moloka’i, O’ahu, Hawai’i, Kaua’i, L’na’i, N’ihau, and Kaho’olawe.

Kamehameha Day was first proclaimed by Kamehameha V, the grandson of Kamehameha the Great, on December 22, 1871. The day aims to honor the man who established the Kingdom of Hawai’i. The day was first observed in 1872, and proclaimed as a public holiday in 1959 by the Governor of Hawai’i and the Hawai’i State Legislature. 1959 was the year, Hawaiʻi achieved statehood. A floral parade is held annually at various locations throughout the state of Hawaii. Today, there are several celebrations during Kamehameha Day. On top, the King Kamehameha Hula Competition attracts hula groups from all over the world.

Interesting Fact: Kapuāiwa Coconut Beach Park holds one of Hawaii’s oldest and most sacred coconut groves. Located in Kaunakakai on the island of Moloka’i, the first coconut trees were planted in the 1860’s by King Kamehameha V
