This month’s adventure is based in Kerala. A southern state of India on the Malabar Coast.

Onam is when Kerala parties. Boat races, song and dance, lots of good food, and as much exotica as one can take, are there for the asking. Onam is celebrated in gratitude for the bounties of the land, for all that nature provides for the people. On a slightly different level, the festival also keeps alive the legend of a benevolent ancient ruler called Mahabali, who, it is believed, again visits his subjects – the people of Kerala – during Onam Festival. Kerala produces & exports pepper, natural rubber, coffee, tea, cashew nuts and spices.

X-Pets will need to make their way to the festival and mingle with the natives unnoticed. Yet another villain has planned to attend the festival and while everyone is having a good time with food and drink, his minions disguised as carnival animals intend to steal this years harvest of spices from the warehouses. The spices are very valuable. The spices will be concealed in huge space hoppers made from the natural rubber, and the minions will hop down to the harbour and put them on a waiting ship to sail away into the sunset unnoticed. But will they?

X-Pets need to stop the space hoppers and take the spices back to the warehouses before anyone realises what has happened.
